rafaelgarrettHi! My name is Rafael Garrett, and I thank you for taking the time to visit me here. Like you, I am someone looking for something more out of life, and I commend you for choosing to join me in this journey.

I am in my 40′s, and I have done a lot of things in my life so far. I have been a student, a teacher, a mentor, a Soldier, and an amateur scholar always looking to learn something different and expand my comfort zone.

The process that has brought us together today began in 1993 for me, when I realized that the only way I would ever achieve complete happiness would first involve achieving full independence and self-sufficiency.

There have been points during the last two decades when my quest to improve my financial situation led me to try to become a salesman. I did learn a lot in the process, but I invariably found that ethics was always the missing part of the equation I was being required to stick to. As a result, I ended up walking away from the sales industry in its traditional mode and I chose to enter the Internet marketing arena.

I was raised mainly by my mother and my grandparents. My grandmother always told me, “the only real independence is economic independence”, and she was absolutely right! Her admonition became crystal-clear for me years later, after I left the Army during tough economic times to come back to civilian life

My grandmother worked hard her entire life but did not achieve economic independence, not because she didn’t want to, but because she was never exposed to the knowledge and the systems that would have enabled her to live up to the sage advice she gave me. My aim here is to keep myself from falling into that rut, and to help you keep from falling into it as well.

Unlearning bad habits and behaviors and building a winning attitude that is invulnerable to the ups and downs of human nature is difficult. It takes a lot of effort, but I believe that the simple fact that you and I have ended up here at this particular moment in time represents a solid beginning that ought to be built upon.

Therefore, allow me to welcome you to this space and offer you all of my support and assistance as we try to climb to the top together. The United States Army taught me that there is no ‘I” in the word “team” and that the only easy day was yesterday, and that is precisely the kind of attitude we must strive to uphold during this process.

Knowledge is power, and it is also a precious commodity. I believe that in these tough times we all have an obligation to help each other, and what better way to help each other is there than by sharing the knowledge needed to improve the quality of our lives? That is my goal.

I salute you, my friend, and I look forward to our long and fruitful collaboration!
